Yesterday, Sunday September 22 was the first day of Fall! Here in my little piece of the world, Fall began with a weak cold front that brought the morning temperatures down into the 60s. For some of you northern folks, that may not seem like much, but here in the south, that's reason to celebrate! I'm not pulling out the sweaters and heavy blankets just yet, but I feel the need to welcome this cooler weather by stocking my pantry with some homemade hot drink mixes and baking some yummy treats. Here's my faves:
Hot Cocoa Mix from Seeded at the Table. This cocoa is amazingly creamy thanks to white chocolate chips in the mix!

Each year, during the first week of Fall, I make these ah-mazing Caramel Apple Mini-Cupcakes from Rachel Ray. They are even better than they look. They're Slap-Your-Momma good. They'll make a sinner repent. They'll also sabotage your diet. You've been warned.

And last, but CERTAINLY not least, this beautiful work of art from Inspired by Charm. Spiral Apple Bread is super easy and incredibly delicious, thanks to the Caramel Apple Glaze. Can we all just take a moment to admire it? It looks like a rose, a $40 tart from a french bakery, a dessert to shut up that ONE MOM at the PTA Meeting. You know who she is. Make this for your September meeting and watch her mouth drop! (send me pics!)

Now that you've been inspired...go make something! <3
